The George Washington University (GW) Cancer Center’s Cancer Control Technical Assistance Portal (TAP) was created in response to a need voiced by cancer control professionals for a centralized website that pulls together existing and new technical assistance (TA). The GW Cancer Control TAP does just that through the Resource Repository, where users can search for and access Comprehensive Cancer Control resources produced not only by the GW Cancer Center but also by the National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NCCCP)-funded state programs, cancer control coalitions and other stakeholders. Users can sign up for and access archives of the GW Cancer Control Technical Assistance Periodical, a monthly eNewsletter that highlights new webinars, trainings, events, resources and funding opportunities. This website also houses upcoming and past webinars and Online Learning modules produced by the GW Cancer Center so users can access them 24/7. The website also features an Events Calendar for all upcoming and past events by not only the GW Cancer Center but also by other organizations.
