Cancer has a high level of incidence in this region and for this reason the LUZES Foundation, counterpart of the Association of Colombians, wishes to implement different programs to modify the curative and non-preventive mentality that exists in the population, which will be based on the promotion and prevention of disease and early diagnosis, so vital for proper treatment. So far the Foundation does not have the necessary equipment for what is intended the acquisition of an endoscope and a colposcope for the early diagnosis of various types of cancer. In this way, the promotion and prevention activities that are being carried out will be complemented and the mortality rate caused by this disease will be reduced..
