The Barrett's and Esophageal Adenocarcinoma Consortium (BEACON) is comprised of 12 esophageal adenocarcinoma studies and five Barrett's esophagus studies. We have published manuscripts on smoking (Gastroenterology & Gut), BMI and waist circumference (Gut), NSAIDs, exposure rate analyses, gastroesophageal reflux disease, alcohol, and age-specific risk profiles. Additional analyses of IGFs, adiponectin and other exposures are ongoing.
