To assess the prevalence of chemotherapy treatment in the last 30 days of life among cancer patients at the UCI. To characterize the perception of palliative care referrals among providers at the UCI and what factors influence its use. To determine the factors that doctors at the UCI use in determining when to refer a patient to specialist palliative care.
